Mepitel Ag represents a new generation of wound contact layer - all the benefits of Mepitel and Safetac technology plus antimicrobial activity with proven effect. Mepitel Ag gently protects and effectively treats wounds where antimicrobial activity is needed. Mepitel Ag is the only antimicrobial contact layer with Safetac technology. Mepitel Ag provides antimicrobial effect for a wide range of low to high-exuding wounds. It comes in a wide range of sizes and can be cut to fit a specific wound shape. Mepitel Ag can also be used under compression bandaging. Minimal damage to the skin and the wound at dressing changes. Minimal patient pain. Can be left in place, while a secondary layer is changed more frequently. Inactivates a broad range of wound-related pathogens up to 8 days. Antimicrobial effect - even with a secondary layer.

Love it but it stains

I love these but had to knock some stars down for a single reason. They are soft, the material is somehow both substantial and airy at the same time, and a smooth, silky (not satin), cozy texture. The color was exactly as pictured. The envelope style works great to keep my pillows covered. The fabric lays perfectly. I love sleeping on this pillow case.
Took two stars off because every single atom of oil on my face stained it immediately and won't come out in the wash. Its not subtle. You can see anywhere my face has been, forever. I don't have some incredibly oily face or hair, I've never had this happen to another pillow case in my life.

Silky and Soothing

I thought I was getting 1 of the queen sized but I got 2. I got these for my Pomeranian's fuzzy pillow. He's always hot and these are very cooling and very good quality. He loves them and are very comfortable for him. They totally transformed his shaggy old pillow. I used the larger body pillow covers to replace the covers I had. They matched my bedspread perfectly. I use 2 body pillows along the exterior wall in my bedroom where there is cold coming through the floor in the winter. I'm sure I will enjoy them in the summer when it's hot too!

Great pillow, but the cooling effect depends on the cover

I really like this pillow overall. It’s comfortable, supportive, and feels well made. When you use it without a pillowcase, it definitely feels cool to the touch and does what it claims in terms of that initial cooling sensation.
However, once you put a pillowcase on it, you can’t really feel the cooling effect anymore. I’ve tried multiple different pillowcases made from different materials, and none of them really let that cool feeling come through.
That said, I still love the pillow itself. It’s comfortable and supportive enough that I’m keeping it. Just keep in mind that the cooling feature works best without a cover, which isn’t ideal for everyone.
Overall, a good pillow — just manage expectations about the cooling effect once it’s covered.
